Jim Inhofe - Republican. Inhofe grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and graduated from Tulsa's Central High School. He received a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Tulsa in 1973. Elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives in a special election in 1966, Inhofe was later elected to the Oklahoma Senate in 1968 and 1972. In 1978 he was elected mayor of Tulsa, winning re-election to that post in 1980 and 1982. Elected to the U.S. Congress in 1986, he was re-elected in 1988, 1990, and 1992. Inhofe relinquished his congressional seat in 1994 to run for the U.S. Senate, and was elected to fill an unexpired term. He was re-elected to full six -year terms in 1996 and 2002. He serves on the Armed Services and the Environment and Public Works committees.

Tom Coburn - Republican. Coburn was raised in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and graduated from Central High School in 1966. He received a bachelor's degree in accounting from Oklahoma State University in 1970. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma Medical School in 1983. Coburn interned in general surgery at Saint Anthony's Hospital in Oklahoma City, and completed his residency in family practice at the University of Arkansas, Fort Smith. He returned to Muskogee, and specialized in family medicine, obstetrics, and allergy. Coburn was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives from Oklahoma's Second Congressional District in 1994, and was re-elected in 1996 and 1998. Following his third term in the House, he returned to Oklahoma and continued his medical practice. In 2004 Coburn won election to the U.S. Senate, replacing retiring Republican Don Nickles. He currently serves on the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, Judiciary, and Indian Affairs committees.

John Sullivan - First District, Republican. A graduate of Northeastern Oklahoma State University, Sullivan earned a bachelor's degree in business administration in 1992. Sullivan was elected and served in the Oklahoma House of Representatives from 1995 to 2002. Sullivan was sworn in as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives on February 27, 2002, after winning a special election to fill the vacancy created by Congressman Steve Largent. Sullivan currently serves on the Energy and Commerce Committee as well as the following subcommittees: Commerce, Consumer Protection, and Trade; Energy and Air Quality; and Environment and Hazardous Materials.

Dan Boren - Second District, Democrat. Boren lives in Okfuskee County in the rural community of Paden. He received a bachelor's degree in economics from Texas Christian University and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Oklahoma. Boren was elected to the Oklahoma House of Representatives in 2002. He was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2004.

Frank Lucas - Third District, Republican. Lucas received a bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University in 1982. Elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in a special election on May 10, 1993, Lucas is currently serving his fifth full term in Congress. At the time of his election to Congress, Lucas was in his third term as a member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives.
